Shawn Meaike is the founder and president of the life insurance agency, Family First Life. In late 2013, Shawn launched FFL, currently on track to be a billion-dollar independent marketing organization. As Shawn describes it, he has "built a company that truly puts both the families of our clients and the families of our agents first."

Shawn didn't come from money and was raised by a single mother who taught him that work ethic is the key to survival.After many figurative punches in the face, Shawn decided to get sober at the age of 28. This is where the hustle he exhibits today was born.

He has run various businesses including but not limited to residential and commercial real estate, developer, general contractor, landlord, and owned a waste management company. Finally, Shawn found his niche as an independent life insurance agent. He does not consider himself a rare breed or special. He's simply a firm believer that with the right attitude and activity, anything is possible.
